Why some of link highlights disappear when I click “Duplicate Links” icon?
If one website contains several identical links (with the same description and target address), gemiusHeatMap cannot distinguish what link has been clicked. Statistics for such links are aggregated and are displayed in near every similar link. If this option is deactivated, statistics are displayed only near the first such link on a given website and further similar links are not highlighted.
If you want to distinguish clicks in identical links, it is necessary to make a small modification of the website e.g. change the description of one of the links using a non-breaking space ( ).
